Vulcan In The Community
Longstanding Community Involvement
Vulcan Towing has been involved in the community for many years. We donate to various homeless shelters, support racing development, donate services to nonprofit organizations, sponsor youth hockey programs, high school basketball teams, and recently purchased Alaska Boxing Academy all-new practice gloves and gear. Additionally, we also support Bean’s Café. Our desire is to reach into the community and support them as much as we can afford. We love Anchorage and we love Alaska!
DUI Awareness
We want to bring more awareness to the Slow Down - Move Over law which highlights the importance of driving safely around tow trucks and their operators. This comes not only from a place of practicality but from our own experience of losing one of our staff members to an accident while at work.
Municipality of Anchorage Contract
Over the past nine years, we have had an active contract with the MOA that renews every three years. On a rotating basis with other towing companies, the Anchorage Police Department dispatches Vulcan to impound vehicles marked by their police officers which we hold in our storage yard.
Alaska Raceway Park
Starting in 2016, Vulcan Towing partnered with Alaska Raceway Park when they opened the new oval track. We are able to support them by providing tow trucks and a crew to run their events. We have really enjoyed the opportunity and we always look forward to helping out wherever we can!
